Apparently, at Carleton College, it was global warming before it wasn’t. “Though there are no conclusive links between recent events and global warming, ‘the consensus really is that we are observing more-severe and more-frequent weather events,’ says Martha M. Larson, manager of campus energy and sustainability at Carleton College, which is coping with a regional drought while also recovering from a series of floods,” Julia Love reported in the Chronicle of Higher Education on September 14, 2012.

“We haven’t said, ‘This is climate change,’ but we’re all thinking that,” Larson told Love.
