Head Shot Hegemony
Although I don’t come in for anywhere near the attacks that Ann Coulter and David Horowitz generate, left-wing stalkers in the blogosphere do occasionally take note of my existence. When they do, 75 percent of their comments seem to be about my head shot.
Out of that byplay, about three-quarters of the criticism is of the cigar while the rest of the visually oriented critics object to the bow tie, followed by the hairline and a vigorous debate on where it starts. Oh, and the non-head-shot posts? They are all about how superficial I am.
Because I see how my photo unnerves port-side bloggers, I keep using it even though it is almost two-years-old.
