Suspension Of Praying Students

I am amazed at the continued ignorance of school officials on the constitutionally protected prayer rights of all public school students.

These guarantees are specifically laid out in the NCLB education Act and schools that violate them are supposed to be in danger of losing federal funding. In addition, each and every school superintendent across the land has to verify each year in writing that his/her school district is NOT violating individual rights to free religious expression in public schools (which includes prayer), or risk funding loss.

How can it be that these teachers and principles are still acting in such ignorance given these requirements?

This principal is the one who should be suspended.

The students are completely in the right.

What’s happening in this country that religious liberty is being so systematically suppressed and censored?

Is this ‘free speech’?
