Proposed Ferguson Protest Monument at St. Louis University Offends Donors, Alumni

The monument was agreed on by protesters, who were on St. Louis University campus during and after the Ferguson, Missouri riots, and the university president in order to get the protesters to leave. Now wealthy alumni and donors are threatening to withhold donations until the monument idea is scrapped.
