Mizzou Board Rejects Melissa Click’s Appeal of Her Firing
Melissa Click, the fired mass media communications professor, appealed her termination to the university’s Board of Curators and that her firing violated her First Amendment and academic freedom rights. The board, however, rejected the appeal on the grounds that her conduct was the reason behind her firing.
