Per the AFA Journal, pro-life Catholic teacher Bill Diss was terminated back in 2013 for excusing himself from “facilitating a Planned Parenthood sponsored presentation” in 2012. Diss is appealing the decision by a district court judge last year, who ruled that Diss did not have a case because the presentation was not a burden on his religious beliefs. The case is being appealed to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals by the Life Legal Defense Foundation.
