Columbia University Students Demand Removal of Thomas Jefferson Statue
In addition to demanding the removal of the statue of Thomas Jefferson, one of America’s Founding Fathers, Columbia University students accused Jefferson of white supremacy and put a white hood on the statue’s head to symbolize the Ku Klux Klan.
Jefferson was not a Klan member, as far as history is concerned, but it was an attempt to paint Jefferson as a white supremacist.
