Another Banana Incident at a College: This Time, at DC’s American University

There was a banana-hanging incident at Clemson University, which set off a firestorm on their campus. It was later discovered that it was most likely a hoax. Yet, Clemson would not release many details to the public.

Now, there were three sightings of bananas hanging in nooses at the campus of Washington, D.C.-based American University. The administrators condemned it and are investigating it as a racist incident, as there were two banana-related incidents on-campus last year.
