University of Wisconsin Student Government Unanimously Votes on Resolution for ‘Community Control’ of Police
The flagship campus for the University of Wisconsin, located in Madison, saw its student government leaders vote unanimously to push for “community control” of the campus police. The vote was 28-0 in favor of their proposal and was unhappy how the campus police treated minorities.
What was their example? A male black student, who vandalized the campus with spray painting, was arrested for causing about $4,000 in damages.
