Ivy League Hunger Strikes Do Little to Change Reality

Hunger strikes by students at Ivy League schools, such as Columbia University and Yale University, have called some attention to issues such as the imprisonment of Palestinians in Israel. The effort was to act in solidarity with political prisoners in Israeli prisons, who fasted to protest their imprisonment.

But these hunger strikes at colleges have not changed U.S. foreign policy, nor has it impacted the daily lives of those in college administration.

Looks like these fasting students, which is abstaining from meals, are doing a lot without any result.
