Professor: U.S. Constitution ‘was Designed to Entrench Slavery’

Professor Gerald Horne, at the University of Houston, wrote a piece on the U.S. history knowledge of black Americans. In the piece, he claimed that the U.S. Constitution “invented this national myth that the constitution, which was designed to entrench slavery and white supremacy forevermore, was somehow flexible enough to encompass the rest of us.”
