Marquette University, a Catholic Institution, to Hold ‘Pride Prom’

Marquette University, a Jesuit Catholic institution, is holding a LGBTQIA-friendly “Pride Prom” on its college campus, spurring a petition of 20,000 signees to stop the event. Per The College Fix, the university has not been clear on whether they will sponsor the event, and considering the Catholic Church’s stance on the family unit, it could prove tricky for the administration.
