Chief Illiniwek Still Protested
The venerable old mascot at the University of Illinois still does more than ruffle feathers. “Illinois Student Government will not participate in this weekend’s Homecoming Parade in support of Native American students,” Cori Lippert reported in The Daily Illini on October 26, 2017.
