Egytian Dissident Cynthia Farahat: Middle East Wants Free Markets, Free Speech

In a recent interview with Reason, Egyptian dissident Cynthia Farahat discussed how the Middle East is craving freedom of speech and the free market, two pillars of Western democracy. She founded a pro-liberal democracy party, was summarily persecuted and she sought (and was granted) political asylum in the United States.
