The Commencement Address You Will Not Hear
Obama Administration officials ran themselves ragged delivering commencement addresses but you needn’t expect Trump Administration officials to run out of energy after graduation day.
University officials will probably solve the problem of disinviting them by not inviting them in the first place. Accordingly, as the president and his appointees can’t expect a platform in higher ed, we give you part of the message you might hear from them, if you could, from the man himself.
“Estimates predict the U.S. economy grew at an annualized rate of more than 3 percent in the fourth quarter of last year – just like it did in the two quarters before that,” President Trump recently stated in an op-ed which appeared in The Washington Examiner. “The economy has created more than 2 million new jobs, and the unemployment rate has fallen to its lowest rate in 17 years: 4.1 percent.”
“We have achieved the lowest African-American unemployment rate on record, and the unemployment rate for Hispanic Americans has also hit historic lows.” Although it is easily verified, don’t expect to get that information in any of your classes because verity has been in short supply in academia for some time now.
