Local Ohio University Offers Full-Ride Scholarships to Slain Police Officers’ Daughters

Otterbein University, located in the state of Ohio, recently announced that it is offering full-ride scholarships for the four daughters of slain police officer Eric Joering, who was killed with his partner, Anthony Morelli responding to a domestic violence 911 call. The police officer served in the Westerville, Ohio police department.

Here is the statement:

Otterbein University is committing to full tuition scholarships for each of Officer Eric Joering’s four daughters for a period of up to four years of full-time study to assure that each of them has sufficient support to complete an undergraduate degree at Otterbein. Our community hopes this act of kindness will bring some peace to his children during this difficult time by providing them long-term security and support.
