San Diego College Exam: Sweatshops Blamed on Capitalism

At San Diego Miramar College, in a political science 101 exam, referred to capitalism as a “process of exploitation” and claimed that it also contributed to “sweatshop conditions.” Additionally, the exam read as follows:

“CHILD LABOUR, intimidation of workers, long working hours, forced overtime, low wages, suppression of independent workforce organization, sexual harassment, coercive birth control, unsafe working conditions, poor ventilation, and restricted toilet breaks”

The professor teaching the course, George Kallas, has allegedly railed against capitalism in his lectures.
