University of Rochester allegedly sent around a “gender exclusivity waiver” to its fraternities and athletes to file at their respective organizations. It is scheduled to be enforced starting in the Fall 2019 semester.

The purpose of the waiver is for these organizations to manually apply for permission from the student association to “continue exclusion the opposite sex.” In short, these organizations have to apply each year to explain why they only allow one gender in their membership.
