College Professor Doused NRA Lobbyist’s House with Fake Blood

A college professor allegedly doused the National Rifle Association’s chief lobbyist’s home with fake blood twice, and was charged with misdemeanor property destruction the second time. The chief lobbyist, Christopher Cox, is now the target of academia’s anti-gun rights angst.

The professor, Patricia Hill, teaches classes on sociology at the University of Nebraska’s flagship campus in Lincoln. Hill doused fake blood at Cox’s home in Alexandria, Virginia, in October 2017 and in January 2018.

Two other college professors have protested outside the lobbyist’s home and his wife’s business, as well. Amanda Gailey, a colleague of Hill’s in Nebraska, and Catherine Koebel, who works at William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, protested outside the Cox’s home and outside of Cox’s wife’s business.
