Does USC Discriminate Against Men?

That’s what the U. S. Department of Education wants to know. “The U.S. Department of Education is officially investigating allegations that the University of Southern California excludes male students from certain educational opportunities,” Toni Airaksinen reports on the Campus Reform blog. “The Title IX investigation was launched in response to complaints submitted by a USC professor whose efforts have already instigated a similar investigation into Yale University.”

Lest you think that is turning Title IX on its head, remember, the original statute was designed to prevent discrimination by gender without a bias towards either sex.
