Marquette Student Group Counsels Students to Not Call the Police, Handle Situations on Their Own

A student group at Marquette University told students that they should not call the police if they feel threatened, but should handle it themselves. The group, Marquette Empowerment, specifically told “white students” to stop calling the police and insinuated it could be discriminatory towards minorities.
