Harvard Study: If Readers Given a ‘Trigger Warning’ Before, More Likely to be Anxious while Reading

Three professors in a Harvard University study concluded that if ‘trigger warnings,’ or warnings of potentially offensive material, were given to readers beforehand, those readers would be more anxious while reading books. Or, in other words, the people became anxious because of the warnings given to them before reading the material given to them.
