Rutgers Professor Violated School Policy

James Livingston, the white Rutgers historian who obscenely tweeted about how much he hates white people, has been found in violation of school policy by the university. “Dory Devlin, a spokesperson for Rutgers, said Wednesday that the ‘matter remains under review,'” Emma Whitford reports in Inside Higher Ed. “Rutgers has yet to dole out a punishment to the tenured professor, but university policy says that disciplinary action ‘up to and including discharge’ could be taken against employees who violate the policy.”

The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) is supporting Livingston. Robby Soave at Reason is not happy about the university’s decision either.
