Then university administration goes into action. “Emory University leaders announced Wednesday they have launched an investigation after a law professor used the ‘n-word’ in a class,” Cal Callaway and Portia Bruner reported for Fox% in Atlanta. “According to a statement provided to FOX 5, a law professor used the ‘n-word’ in a classroom on Aug. 23 when lecturing first-year law students about a case stemming from the 1960’s civil rights movement in the South.”

The Emory Wheel, the university newspaper, identified the professor as Paul Zwier. “The professor told The Wheel he used the racial slur while teaching the tort of offensive battery and he should have said “the ‘n-word'” instead of saying it in full,” according to Fox 5.

Zwier’s raters on Rate My Professors.com seem to agree that he is a nice guy if a bit disorganized and incomprehensible.
