Syracuse University’s New Social Justice Center Features Leftist Academics
Syracuse University opened its Lender Center for Social Justice, thanks to a $5 million donation from an alum, and whose faculty members have distinctly leftist ideological backgrounds. The center will be housed within the university’s School of Education, and at least two of the academics in the new center have leftist activist backgrounds.
Marcelle Haddix participated in social justice panels, specifically on Black Lives Matter issues, and Kendall Phillips, another faculty member, has been critical of President Donald Trump in public and taught a course on the president’s “celebrity presidency.”
