High School Principal Replaced after Telling Student to Change Trump Jersey He Wore
Apparently, the wearing of a Donald Trump baseball jersey, complete with American flag patterns and colors, was enough for a high school principal in North Carolina to ask the student to change out of it. But, the student felt terrible and singled out, and as a result of his parent’s complaint, the high school principal was removed from her position.
It is not clear if some parents complained to the Harnett Central High School principal, Cindy Gordon, about the student’s Trump jersey. The high school is located south of Raleigh.
A father tells me his son was asked by the school principal to remove this jersey during a patriotic-themed football game after people complained. Dad, a registered Democrat, says his son complied but felt humiliated. @HarnettCoSchool says it supports expression not disruptions pic.twitter.com/W9U9v2vBLF
