University Board Reinstates Rule on Student Relationships after Staffers Removed It Without Permission

Azusa Pacific University, located northeast of Los Angeles, California, is a private Christian college. Apparently, a rule that prohibited homosexual relationships was removed by college staff without receiving board approval. Thus, the board reinstated the rule and re-emphasized the importance of heterosexual relationships in the context of the Christian religion, but the action was criticized by students who blamed the college for sending mixed messages.
