University of Pacific President, Under Criticism for Budget Cuts and Tuition Increases, will Resign

The University of Pacific, located in the northern California city of Stockton, is now going to look for its ninth university president in its history. The current (and eighth) president, Pamela Eibeck, said she will resign. Much of the criticism she has received as university president surrounded her cutting the university’s budget to meet financial goals and to raise tuition to pay for the budget.
