Columbia University Student Government Narrowly Rejects Anti-Israel BDS Resolution

Columbia University, located in New York City, saw its student government narrowly defeat a proposed anti-Israel BDS (Boycott, Divest and Sanction) referendum this past week. The vote was anonymous, but the final vote tally was 20 to reject the referendum, 17 to pass the referendum, and one abstention. It also took four hours to get to the vote after much debate.
