Pitzer College Students and Faculty Voted to Stop Study-Abroad Program in Israel, but College President Defies Vote

Pitzer College’s student-and-faculty-staffed council voted to stop their study-abroad program in Israel, but when the college president, Melvin Oliver, heard of it, he said he was opposed to the move and would keep it in place.
