The promotion and exaltation of the LGBT movement permeates much of academia as universities and their students promulgate and celebrate pro-LGBT ideology.

In yet another example of this trend, Penn State published a list of events that were slated to occur during “Campus Pride Month” this April.

Two of the upcoming events listed at Penn State University Park are a “Trans Positive Swim Night” and an activity where attendees will don colored shirts provided to them in order to create “a human pride flag.”

April 24 — Rainbow Power Remix: Dance and shake to help Campus Recreation build a human pride flag with colored T-shirts given at the door of gym No. 3 in the IM building.

April 27 — Campus Recreation will be hosting Trans Positive Swim Night, an inclusive swim time in McCoy Natatorium where transgender, gender non-conforming, nonbinary students and supporting students are welcome to participate and create a positive space for all.

Drag queens factored into some of the festivities, with one event promising something called “drag bingo”:

April 2 — HUB Take Over — Various organizations representing the LGBTQ+ community will take over the first floor of the HUB-Robeson Center, providing information for students, and including a DJ, Drag Queens and Drag Bingo taking place at noon.

In a video published by the Centre Daily Times, a student speaking at the April 5th “Pride March and Rally” led attendees in a call and response chant of “We are Penn State; we are not straight.”

“Close to 100 students, faculty, staff, administrators and State College community members braved the weather to show public support for and celebrate the university’s LGBTQ community with a march around campus and rally on the steps of Old Main,” the Centre Daily Times article reports.
