University of California-Berkeley Student Government Passes Resolution Approving Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal

The University of California-Berkeley student government backed socialist Democratic congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s ‘Green New Deal,’ which at least one think tank said would cost at least $93 trillion to implement. The student government believed that the proposal is necessary for America’s future.

However, the university does not have to implement this resolution or any other resolution passed by the student government.
