New York Times Cites Survey that had Under 6% Response Rate

The New York Times, a biased left-wing mainstream media newspaper. cited a survey in one of its articles that 45% of college students face food insecurity. Or, in other words, 45% of college students go hungry. However, upon further examination, the survey was e-mailed to students and only 6% of respondents replied, which is an extremely low number for surveys. External surveys like this one should net a 10-15% response rate.
