Protesters and cancel culture mafia are not new for conservatives, but sometimes it gets too close to comfort. That is what two female conservative authors discovered when several screaming protesters crashed their book launch event in Manhattan, New York last week.

Authors Bethany Mandel and Karol Markowitz co-wrote the book, “Stolen Youth: How Radicals Are Erasing Innocence and Indoctrinating a Generation,” which focuses on the left-wing indoctrination of America’s children.

The Daily Wire reported that the young female protesters “threw their drinking glasses at the wall where the pair’s books were displayed” and it left Mandel “soaking wet.” Some of the protesters yelled at book event attendees, as well as hurl obscenities as “fascist c***s.”

Mandel said, “Suddenly I heard screaming, had books thrown at me and I was soaking wet.” She added, “I realized young women with short, dyed blue hair were screaming at us ‘black lives matter, trans lives matter!’ I tried to talk to them, but they ran off.”

Mandel had brought her nursing baby with her on the trip, but the baby was spared potential injury or harm because the baby “was snuggling with the child” when the protesters barged into the book event.

“Their protest proved our point,” Markowitz said, “The deep anger at a book they haven’t read, at the fact that opinions other than their own may even exist, wanting to shut down an event held by people with which they may disagree, it’s exactly the kind of conformity that we talk about in the book.”

The book is published and sold by The Daily Wire.

According to its description, the book provides a “an urgent deep dive into issues surrounding the current woke indoctrination happening in politics, education, medicine, mental health, entertainment, and culture.”
