AAUP Declares Victory After Koch Court Win

The Koch Brothers they despise just won a key court case but the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) is doing victory laps. “The Charles Koch Foundation changed their donor habits as a result of the pressure we’ve applied while exposing their strategy for undue donor influence,” Ralph Wilson posted on the academe blog maintained by the AAUP, courtesy of Martin Kich. “The Wall Street Journal just published an article ‘Charles Koch Foundation to Publish Future University Grant Agreements’ wherein it was announced that ‘the Charles Koch Foundation says it will post online all future multi-year grant agreements with universities, aiming to head off some of the controversy surrounding the libertarian philanthropic group’s growing ambitions on college campuses around the country.'”

“We consider this a win because we know that the Charles Koch Foundation would not be making this strategic pivot were it not for this campaign. Your tireless efforts to hold them accountable is working!” Tireless efforts is working? Maybe they are a little tired.
