Activists at American University want Stronger Condemnation of Flyers on Immigration

Latino activists at American University in Washington, D.C. want the university administration to be more vocal about strongly-worded flyers on immigration, which offended them. One official already issued a statement on the flyers, which said, “NO means NO” to immigration and “#MyBordersMyChoice,” which mock oft-used Leftist and liberal talking points and social media hashtags.

Five student activists said that the e-mail response was not enough and some people were deeply offended and need counseling and help, per The College Fix:

“I’m frustrated because, as of now, nothing has happened,” said student Erika Soto, a lead organizer of AU’s contingent at the “Clean DREAM Act” rally in November. “The school sent out an email, but I don’t think it was sufficient enough because no resources were provided for those students who were affected.”
