After Outcry, San Diego State Anti-Trump Course Removes Mention of President Trump

San Diego State University offers a one-credit course that was originally critical of President Donald Trump, called “Trump: Impeachment, Removal, or Conviction?” But, after public outcry, the course removed any references to the president in the course’s title, but kept an anti-Trump book as its only textbook.

What was the university’s reasoning for the title change? The university said that the original title was “inconsistent with the course content described.”

In the end, the title for the course is “Impeachment, Removal, or Conviction,” so in the end, the title change does not change the course too much.
