Amber Athey Dissed At AU

One of our favorite writes took the time to spend an evening with college students at American University and they proved that chivalry, gallantry and even good manners are indeed missing in action on that campus. Students at American University protested The Daily Caller’s breaking news and media editor Amber Athey’s speech on campus Tuesday night, which centered on why people should not necessarily believe all women who bring accusations of sexual misconduct,” Mike Brest reported in The Daily Caller yesterday. “They can be seen in the area outside of the room Athey’s speech was in using call and repeat chants to show their opposition to Athey’s speech.”

Of course, since Athey’s theme was “why people should not necessarily believe all women who bring accusations of sexual misconduct,” as Brest put it, the students felt compelled to shout “We believe survivors.” They apparently don’t believe in courtesy.
