American University Plans to Spend $62 Million on Diversity

American University, a private university located in Washington, D.C., plans to put $16 million into so-called “diversity and inclusion initiatives” in 2019, which is a $1 million increase from last year’s $60 million budget. The university plans to maintain last year’s initiatives and financial aid packages.
