British College Loses $1.5 Million Donation over Ousting of Nobel Prize Winner Tim Hunt
The controversy was that Hunt, a Nobel laureate, made a sexist joke and it offended the audience he was speaking to. Social media outraged pushed the University College London to pressure Hunt to resign, even though it was a simple joke and the audience laughed at it.
Now the college lost a $1.5 million donation.
