Melissa Click, the former University of Missouri communications professor who became famous for aggressively confronting a student reporter at a protest, is now working at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington.
The private Catholic university has renewed her contract for another year as a non-tenure track communications professor and the student paper gushed over her contributions to the university, ignoring her conduct and controversy at Mizzou.
As The College Fix pointed out, the student paper called her threat to the Mizzou student reporter an “altercation.” It was considered an assault charge at the time.
Click is known as the professor, who, on-camera, threatened the student reporter during a protest, then was fired. Student enrollment has plummeted at Mizzou (after the controversy), and is still trending downward.
