Columbia College Students Upset that College Play Doesn’t Have Enough Minorities

Some students who are participating in a college play at the Columbia College (which has multiple locations across the U.S.) are upset that the play’s director did not select enough minorities for the play. The professor who acts as the theater director, Catherine Slade, has been criticized for not selecting enough Latinx (i.e. people of Hispanic descent) and Palestinians.
