Degrees as Parole Fodder

While insider and outsiders debate the value of a college degree in today’s market, one criminal attorney has found a surprising utility for a college education: It can help you get parole. “Weather Underground and Black Liberation Army terrorist Marilyn Buck, a convicted cop-killer, was released,” Cliff Kincaid, president of America’s Survival, Inc., pointed out in a conference at the National Press Club today. “We are revealing details of this for the first time here, through materials gathered through the Freedom of Information Act.”

Incredibly, Buck’s attorney, Soffiyah Elijah, cited Buck’s ‘Master of Fine Arts in Poetics,’ completed behind bars, as evidence that she deserved parole.” Kincaid, who has been affiliated with Accuracy in Media for many years as reporter, writer and editor, currently also serves as Director of the AIM Center for Investigative Journalism.
