Department of Education Revokes Accreditation from Accreditor of ITT Tech
George Leef writes that at least 580,000 students, whose schools were accredited by the Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS), face the reality that their school could no longer receive federal funding. ACICS has seen its accreditation revoked by the Obama Department of Education after forcing ITT Tech to close their doors.
