Students in the Mesquite, Texas school district will have something to look forward to when school re-opens this fall. Their conservative dress code will be loosened to the point where the kids can “wear any color of shoes, socks or belt they want,” according to the MESQUITE blog in the Dallas Morning News.
However, the school is standing behind its decision that students will not be able to wear “extreme faux Mohawks,” even though very few administrators and teachers actually understand what this hairstyle is and how to describe it.
