Show and tell takes on a whole new dimension in the Bay State. “As a former teacher and as a mother and grandmother, I am appalled by how some wish to, in my opinion, inflict experience with dangerous behaviors upon our children in the name of ‘tolerance’ and to have them learn of these behaviors in school, where they are supposed to be safe,” Jane Wilcox writes in a letter to the editor of The Daily Herald. “Since parents are the primary educators of their children and schools are in existence to assist parents, I cannot understand how this came to be.”

“In Provincetown, for example, the school board voted unanimously to make condoms available to all students, even those in first grade! Under Massachusetts law, individual school districts are allowed to make their own policies about sex education. Can you imagine the need for six-year-olds using condoms?”

I’ll bet even John Lennon couldn’t imagine that.
