A self-described “black queer artist” and professor of feminism and queer theory, race and decolonial studies, Naima Lowe, has resigned from the embattled college. As a part of the resignation agreement, Evergreen State College will pay Lowe $240,000.

Lowe was filmed on video criticizing her white colleagues and using foul language, which spurred the agreement when Lowe may have been thinking about suing the college.
