Evergreen State Settled Lawsuit with Professors over Day of Segregation

Bret Weinstein and his wife reached a legal settlement in their tort lawsuit against their former employer, Evergreen State College. As a part of the settlement, they agreed to resign from the university and received $500,000.

The lawsuit was filed after the professors accused the administration of creating a hostile environment, in addition to the college’s promotion of a day of racial segregation, which the professors disagreed with and voiced their concerns.

They were criticized for their concerns and it led to civil unrest at the college.
