CampusReform.org completed an in-depth profile of the political climate at George Washington University as part of an ongoing project to research the nation’s top 100 universities.  The research shows liberal political bias at George Washington University based on the school’s faculty, student organizations, and administrative policies.

Liberal student groups at George Washington University outnumber conservative groups by 13 to six. The political leanings of university professors are similarly biased. Specifically, 87% the school’s faculty and staff who donated in the 2008 presidential election gave to Democratic candidates. In addition, of the total dollars donated by George Washington University faculty and staff, an equal 87% went to Democrats.

“America’s colleges and universities are dominated by liberals, and George Washington University is no different,” said Morton Blackwell, president of the Leadership Institute and founder of CampusReform.org.  “Too often, the campus left uses its power to indoctrinate the next generation.”
