‘God Bless America’ is a ‘Warmongering’ Song, Claimed Professor

A communications professor at Ithaca College, Stephen Mosher, made the claim that the national anthem is hyper-patriotic and ‘God Bless America’ is a “warmongering” song. Mosher wrote the comments in an op-ed in the campus newspaper, in light of recent protests by NFL athletes during the playing of the national anthem.
